MONROE - A vehicle driven by Ashley J. Edler, 22, Monroe, hit a deer about 8:26 a.m. Wednesday on Shanghai Road, four-tenths of a mile west of Mount Hope Road. The vehicle received minor damage.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 9:30 p.m. Wednesday on Wisconsin 11 in Shullsburg township. Nguyen Tran, 41, Monroe, was westbound when he reported he fell asleep causing him to lose control. The vehicle traveled across the roadway and into the opposite ditch, coming to rest in a field. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene. Tran was cited for inattentive driving.
