GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - On Wednesday:
• A driver was injured at 7:02 p.m. after Jane E. Swiggum, 75, Monroe, veered into a ditch and overturned after her vehicle was struck by a strong gust of wind in the N4400 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of Monroe. Swiggum was transported to a local hospital for her injuries. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
• A driver was injured at 11:32 p.m. after Samuel S. Hanson, 17, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle on a wet roadway and overturned in a ditch in the W8200 block of Wis. 81, Town of Jordan. Hanson was transported to a local hospital for his injuries. His vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene.
