Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a three-vehicle accident on Wisconsin 11 and Cadiz Springs Road around 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Lance Michael Notter, 18, Argyle, was southbound on Cadiz Spring Road and crossed Wis. 11 into the path of a eastbound vehicle driven by Douglas Michael Artman, 27, South Wayne. Artman's vehicle hit Notter's vehicle, causing it to impact a vehicle driven by William J. Ammann, 56, Browntown. Ammann sustained a minor injury but declined medical treatment. His vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. Artman's vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene. He will be cited for operating after a driver's license is revoked. Notter's vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene. He will be cited for failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 1:45 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 and Ullom Road in the Town of Cadiz. Sheriff's Department investigation revealed a vehicle driven by Amanda M. Shabi, 21, Lancaster, attempted to pass a vehicle driven by Stacie M. Soddy, 39, Browntown, as Soddy started to make a left turn. Shabi swerved to miss Soddy's vehicle, went off the side of the road and struck a snow bank. Shabi's vehicle received extensive front-end damage and was towed from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident about 12:15 a.m. Sunday on Glenway Road south of Alpine Road in Brooklyn Township. Lihn My Hoac, 19, lost control of the vehicle which slid off the road and hit a fence. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 7 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 59 at County DR in the Town of Monroe. Randy D. Hall, 22, Beloit, lost control of the vehicle while traveling west bound, slid off the road and hit the County DR road sign. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• A vehicle driven by Jerry E. Briggs, 36, Monroe, hit a deer around 11 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 59 near Burkhalter Road in the Town of Sylvester. The vehicle received minor damages and was driven form the scene.

• No one was injured when a vehicle driven by Jennifer L. Wolter, 36, Evansville backed into a legally parked vehicle owned by Randel Palombi, no age given, Janesville around 9:15 a.m. Saturday at the Brodhead Vet Clinic. Both vehicles received minor bumper damage.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 11:15 a.m. Saturday in the village of Argyle. Milford L. Paulson, 79, Argyle, was operating a 2008 Ford truck while backing out of a parking lot, when she hit a 2005 Subaru being operated by Marlea A. Leopold, 65, Blanchardville. No damage report was available.

• Belmont Fire Department and Belmont ambulance were dispatched around 11:30 a.m. Saturday to an accident on Wis. 151 in Belmont township. Daniel W. Harms, 57, Galena, Ill., was traveling north when he lost control of his 1997 Nissan due to slippery roads, crossed the median and overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its top. No reports of injury or damage were available.
