MONROE - One person was injured in an two-vehicle accident around 4:45 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Wisconsin 69 and 17th Street. A vehicle driven by Kenneth Grossen, 62, Monroe, struck a vehicle driven by Daniel J. Kelly, 40, Monroe. Grossen was transported by Green County Emergency Medical Services to the hospital. Both vehicles received severe damage.
Grossen was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, fourth offense; failure to yield the right of way for a stop sign; and not wearing a seatbelt. Grossen posted bond and was released pending court.

Watrud, 28, Blanchardville, was traveling southbound when his driver's side tire fell off and the vehicle caught fire. The vehicle received severe damage and was towed from the scene.
No one was injured in a one-vehicle accident around 3:15 p.m. Thursday in the W6200 block of Patterson Road. Deputies report that Irvin Roderiguez, 24, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle due to snow and ice on the road. The vehicle went into the ditch where it overturned onto its side. The vehicle received moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Timothy A. King, 24, Argyle, hit a deer around 5 p.m. Thursday on County A and White Oak Road. The vehicle received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

DARLINGTON - No one was injured when a semi slid into the ditch around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on an exit ramp on Wis. 151 in Belmont township. The semi was pulled from the ditch; no damage was reported.
A vehicle driven by M. Elizabeth Mosley, 22, Darlington, hit a deer around 6:45 p.m. Thursday on Otter Creek Road in Lamont township. The vehicle received minor damage.
A vehicle driven by Paul L. Edgerton, 22, Darlington, hit a deer around 10 p.m. Thursday on County K in Darlington township. The vehicle received moderate damage.
