Traffic Accidents: Feb. 12, 2010

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday in the N6300 block of County J, Town of Adams. Deputies report Randall J. Marks, 36, Monticello, was northbound on County J when he lost control of his vehicle and struck the ditch on the west side. Marks was ejected from the vehicle and transported to Monroe Clinic for injuries. The vehicle received severe damage and towed from the scene. Marks was arrested for first offense operating while intoxicated, failure to maintain control and for operating left of center. Marks was released pending court. Argyle EMS, Argyle Fire Department and Monroe EMS responded.

• Tyler J. Colby, 25, Beloit, reported At 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, that he collided with a deer on County E, near Condon Road, in the Town of Decatur. Colby reported no damage to his vehicle and no injury. Colby was cited for operating a motor vehicle while his driver's license is suspended, and released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Deputies took a report at about 8:45 a.m. Wednesday of a snowmobile accident on Slough Lane in Darlington township. No further information was available.

• Callie R. Carlson, 20, reported striking a deer at about 11:45 p.m. Wednesday on Wis. 23 in Willow Springs township. The vehicle received minor damage.
