MONROE - Injuries were reported during a two-vehicle crash at 9 a.m. Monday at the intersection of Wisconsin 11 and Mount Hope Road in the Town of Spring Grove. Jacob D. Leutenegger, 24, Brodhead, was eastbound on Wis. 11 when a westbound vehicle driven by Josephine M. Pinnow, 82, Brodhead, attempted to turn south on Mount Hope Road and collided with Leutenegger's vehicle. Leutenegger was not injured but Pinnow was transported by EMS to a local hospital. Leutenegger's vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed. Pinnow was cited for failure to yield right of way while making a left turn and was released pending court. Brodhead Police, Brodhead Fire and Green County EMS also responded.

DARLINGTON - On Monday:

• No injuries were reported when Johanna M. Chenous, 40, Argyle, struck a deer at 7:19 a.m. on Wis. 78 in Argyle Township. Her 2010 Chevrolet Malibu sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• No injuries were reported when Julie A. Redfearn, 44, Benton, struck a deer at 4:37 p.m. on Palfrey Road in Shullsburg Township. Redfearn's 2018 Buick sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
