GREEN COUNTY SHERIFF
MONROE - On Wednesday:
• No injuries were reported at midnight after Anthony M. Arndt, 18, Monroe, lost control of his vehicle and struck a power pole guy wire and entered a ditch at the intersection of Meyers Road and Burkhalter Road, Town of Sylvester. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
• Larry G. Moldenhauer, 51, New Glarus, reported at 1:43 a.m. a crash that occurred at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 13, when he lost control of his vehicle, entered a ditch and struck a tree in the W6600 block of Legler Valley Road, Town of New Glarus. His vehicle sustained severe damage and remained on scene.
• A passenger was injured at 12:01 p.m. after a car vs. semi collision at the intersection of County K and 18th Street, Town of Clarno. Betty L. Lorfield, 80, Winnebago, Illinois, struck the trailer of a truck driven by Frank T. Cone, 51, Brodhead. A passenger in Lorfield's vehicle, Helen E. Fahrney, 98, Monroe, was injured and transported to a local hospital. Lorfield was cited for failing to yield the right of way from a stop sign. Her vehicle sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene. The truck sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.
• No injuries were reported at 4:01 p.m. after Lauren A. Metcalf, 24, Milton, lost control of her vehicle and struck a fence in the W2200 block of County SS, Town of Decatur. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
• No injuries were reported after Melissa S. Johnson struck a deer in the N6400 block of County A, Town of Adams.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY SHERIFF
DARLINGTON - On Wednesday:
• No injuries were reported at 12:39 a.m. after Anna M. Gammeter, 62, Darlington, struck a deer on County F, Town of Fayette. Her vehicle sustained minor damage.
• A driver received minor injuries at 8:10 a.m. after David M. Germaine, 17, Cuba City, slid into a bridge on Bean Street in Benton. His vehicle sustained moderate damage and was towed from the scene.
• A vehicle in a ditch was reported at 12:23 p.m. on County G, Town of Belmont. The vehicle was towed from the scene with minor damage.
• No injuries were reported at 4:26 p.m. after an unknown vehicle struck the side mirror of Shanna L. Grossen, 33, Darlington, on Wis. 81, Town of Belmont. The offending vehicle left the scene. Grossen's vehicle sustained minor damage.
• No injuries were reported at 6:50 p.m. after Ericka J. Chavez, 26, Darlington, lost control of her vehicle and entered a ditch on Wis. 23, Town of Darlington. Her vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
• No injuries were reported at 9:05 p.m. after Devyune L. Sofran, 17, Argyle, lost control of his vehicle and struck a fence on Trotter Road, Town of Wiota. His vehicle sustained minor damage and was towed from the scene.
• A vehicle in a ditch was reported at 11:44 p.m. on County U, Town of Seymour.
