MONROE - On Thursday:

• Robert J. Levitt, 66, Brodhead, reported no injuries from a deer vs. vehicle crash at 5:18 a.m. in the W1000 block of County E, Town of Decatur. His vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene.

• Eric W. Knight, 27, Monticello, was taken by New Glarus EMS to a local hospital for injuries he sustained in a one-vehicle crash at 3:51 p.m. in the N7900 block of Wisconsin 69, Town of New Glarus. Knight was northbound when he experienced a medical problem that caused him to lose control of his vehicle, veer into the ditch and strike a tree. The vehicle was severely damaged and towed. The New Glarus Police and Fire Departments assisted at the scene.

• No injuries were reported from a two-vehicle crash at 5:35 p.m. in the N9300 block of Wis. 69, Town of New Glarus. Elizabeth A. Woerpel, 16, New Glarus, was southbound when she attempted a U-Turn at a residence. Woerpel failed to yield right-of-way and hit a northbound vehicle driven by Carmen M. Schloesser, 34, New Glarus. Woerpel's vehicle was moderately damaged and driven from the scene. Schloesser's vehicle was severely damaged and towed. Woerpel was cited for failure to yield right-of-way.

DARLINGTON - Todd R. Haney, 45, Shullsburg, reported at 4:15 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27, that he hit a deer on Wis. 11, Town of Shullsburg.
