Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Wednesday, April 2:

• Tony L. Engeli, 26, Monroe, was uninjured in a turkey vs. vehicle accident on County N, north of Indergand Lane at 5:20 p.m. Engeli was northbound on County N when a turkey flew out of a wooded area and hit his vehicle. The vehicle sustained minor damage and was driven from the scene.

• Robert K. Chumbler Jr., 43, Winslow, Ill., sustained non-life-threatening injuries in a one-vehicle crash on Wisconsin 11 west of Allen Road, Cadiz Township at 6:17 p.m. Chumbler was westbound on Wis. 11 when his vehicle crossed the center line and entered the south ditch, where the vehicle struck two trees. Chumbler was transported to the Monroe ER for injuries received in the crash. The vehicle sustained very severe damage and was towed from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Wednesday, April 2:

• Susan A. Aurand, 50, South Wayne, was uninjured in a deer vs. vehicle accident on Mau Road, Wayne Township, at 6:13 a.m. Her vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

• Joseph W. Ruf, 27, Darlington, was uninjured after reporting that several deer hit his 2013 Chevrolet on County F, Fayette Township at 7:57 p.m. The Chevrolet sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
