MONROE - No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 7:45 a.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of 17th Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Christopher A. Line, 18, Monroe, hit a parked vehicle owned by Jacob B. Scherer, 47, Monroe. Line was cited for inattentive driving. Both vehicles received extensive damage and were towed.
No one was injured in two-vehicle accident around 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wisconsin 69 and Sixth Street. Police report a vehicle driven by Laura J. Hanson, 42, Monroe, hit a semi tractor driven by Neil G. Pfeiffer II, 41, Beloit. The vehicles received minor damage.
No one was injured in a two-vehicle accident around 10:30 am. Wednesday at Eighth Street and Third Avenue. Police report a vehicle driven by Frederick W. Brandt, 84, Monroe, hit a vehicle driven by Gerald J. Infusino, 56, Bartlett, Ill. The vehicles received moderate damage.

MONROE - Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident around 6 a.m. Tuesday on Wis. 11 west of County S. Deputies report a vehicle driven by Dennis A. Reese, 44, Machesney Park, Ill., left the road and overturned. Reese and his passenger, John E. McCord, 47, Rockford, Ill., sustained minor injuries but refused medical attention. Reese was cited for failure to maintain control of a vehicle. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed.
No one was injured in a car fire around 2 a.m. Wednesday on Wis. 69 north of County FF. Deputies report the motor in a vehicle driven by Elias B. Gonzalez, 28, Freeport, caught fire. Gonzalez was able to put the fire out using gravel from the road. The vehicle received minor damage.
A vehicle driven by Brandi R. Davis, 27, Monroe, hit a deer around 8:15 p.m. Tuesday in the N200 block of Wis. 69. The vehicle received extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
A vehicle driven by Donald E. Moe, 79, Monroe, hit a deer around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday on Wis. 69 near Old Madison Road. The vehicle received minor damage.
