ALBANY - Randall "Randy" Moore, age 60, of Albany, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the Monroe Manor Nursing Home, Monroe. He was born on October 18, 1947 in Jacksonville, FL, the son of Forrest and Juanita (Swilley) Moore. He married Miyoko Renfro in 1980.
Randy joined the U.S. Marines in 1966. After 6 years with the Marines, he joined the U.S. Navy, where he had 2 tours in his 20 year career, retiring in 1991. He also was a member of the National Guard and was an apprentice printer in Evansville for a short time.
He is survived by four sisters: Sheryl (Dave) Welz, Monroe, Julie Teal, Becky (Dave) Alberti, both of Brodhead, Vicki Nolte, Evansville, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Greenwood Cemetery, Brodhead, WI, with full military rites. A memorial fund will be established and a fellowship gathering will be held following the service at the Bank of Brodhead courtesy room. The D.L. NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Brodhead, is assisting the family.
