BROWNTOWN - Green County Crime Stoppers and the Green County Sheriff's Department are seeking information about vandalism done with spray paint in Browntown.
According to a news release issued by Crime Stoppers, the sheriff's department was notified Monday, July 7, of four instances of black, spray-painted expletives on buildings and cars on East South Street. A fifth incident was reported to the department on Wednesday.
Green County Chief Deputy Jeff Skatrud said the incidents probably occurred late Sunday night or early Monday morning. The damaged parts of buildings include a porch, garage door and shed, all in close proximity to each other.
Skatrud said there are no suspects.
Anyone who can identify the person or persons responsible for the damage is encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-7463.
Callers may remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward if an arrest is made.
