Monroe Police

MONROE - John D. Johnson, 30, Monroe, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant, second offense, at about 2:15 a.m. Saturday in the 700 block of 12th Avenue. Johnson was released pending court.

• George Huerta, 33, Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Monroe police department at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Fourth Street. Huerta was jailed.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Linda L. Logan 48, New Glarus, was cited for operating with expired license plates at about 6 p.m. Sept. 22, on Sixth Avenue near Fifth Street.

• Police received information about a juvenile being truant from school on a repeated basis at about 1:22 p.m. Friday. The juvenile is being referred to Juvenile Intake authorities.

• Mark A. Steiner, 48, New Glarus, was cited for operating while suspended at about 9:15 a.m. Saturday on Fourth Avenue near Third Street.

• Edwin A. Negron, (no age, no address) was cited for operating while revoked at about 5:45 p.m. Sunday on Wisconsin 69 near 11th Avenue.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Larry A. Hawthorn, 62, rural Monticello, was arrested for fourth degree sexual assault at about 1:15 a.m. Sunday at a residence in Washington township. Hawthorn posted bail and was released pending court.

• Bryden K. Hanson, 22, Monroe, was arrested for operating while under the influence, first offense; possession with intent to deliver THC and cocaine; criminal damage to property; possession of drug paraphernalia, and was cited for open intoxicants in a motor vehicle and failure to obey a sign at about 2:45 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Ninth Street, Monroe. Hanson was given a court date for the OWI, open intoxicant and failure to obey a sign. Mark A. Lang, 21, Monroe, a passenger in the vehicle, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver THC and cocaine. Micha L. Thorp, 20, Monroe, also a passenger, was arrested for possession with intent to deliver THC and cocaine. Hanson, Lang and Thorp were jailed.

• Lonnie D. Severson, 40, Monroe, was arrested for bail jumping at about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in the 1200 block of 17th Avenue. Severson was jailed.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Jon J. Gobrecht, 35, Shullsburg, was arrested for battery at about 5:45 p.m. Friday on Miner Way in Shullsburg. Gobrecht posted bond and was released.

• A 13-year-old male was cited for speeding and no valid driver's license following a traffic stop at about 4:30 p.m. Friday on Wis. 81 in Darlington township.

• Gary J. Cullen, 44, and Brittany C. Cullen, 18, both of Shullsburg, were cited for disorderly conduct at about 8:15 p.m. Saturday, on Iowa Street in Shullsburg. Brittany Cullen was also cited for operating while suspended. Both were released pending court.

• Parker E. Pinney, 18, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was cited for speeding at about 7:45 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 11 in Gratiot township.

• Barbara J. Grass-Schubert, 53, Shullsburg, was cited for expired registration following a traffic stop at about 10:15 a.m. Sunday on White Oak Road in White Oak Springs township.

• Michael A. Montanye, 48, Browntown, was arrested for operating while revoked at about 7:45 p.m. Sunday on Mullen Road in White Oak Springs township. Montanye was booked and released.

• Eugene D. Knapp, 30, Browntown, was cited for speeding at about 1 a.m. Sunday on Wis. 11 in Wayne township.
