Monroe Police

MONROE - Michael R. Gentz, 28, Freeport, was cited for disorderly conduct at 7:45 p.m. Thursday in the 2000 block of 12th Street, following a disturbance. He was released.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - A deputy and the Darlington Police, along with several others, attempted to corral a horse at 9:04 p.m. Thursday. The horse was initially found running loose on Furnace Hill Road in the Town of Willow Springs. The horse eventually traveled southbound on County F into the City of Darlington where it was finally cornered and a lead rope applied. The horse was taken to a nearby pasture until the owner can be found.
