Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Kenneth L. Hawley, 49, Orfordville, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 18, in the 1100 block of 1st Center Avenue. He was released on a cash bond.

• A 17-year-old Stoughton female was arrested on charges of driving with improperly colored headlights and driving with a suspended license (third offense) at 10:12 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, in the 600 block of 1st Street. She was released to a parent with a court date.

• A 17-year-old Brodhead female was cited for truancy at 1:10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20.

• Michelle R. Ward, 44, Beloit, was cited for speeding at 10:19 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21, in the 300 block of East 9th Avenue.

New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - Dylan T. Connolly, 21, Monroe, was cited for driving with a suspended license in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 69 at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21.

• Phanindra Thota, 27, Grand Rapids, Mich., was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign on 5th Avenue at Railroad Street at 12:42 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22.

• Police took a complaint Monday, Nov. 19, that graffiti had been sprayed on a business in the business district of New Glarus.

• Annette C. Meier, 33, Madison, was cited for driving with a suspended license and vehicle registration at 6:43 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, on Wis. 69 at 6th Avenue.

• Collin R. Davalt, 26, Middleton, was cited for driving with a suspended license and an unauthorized display of vehicle registration at 8:46 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, in the 1400 block of 1st Street.

• Justin M. Langfoss, 23, New Glarus, was cited for disorderly conduct at 10:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, following an incident in the 100 block of 5th Avenue.

• Police assisted New Glarus Area EMS with a call within the village at 10:49 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 21.

• At 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, police noticed that the stop sign on 8th Street at 6th Avenue was missing. The post had been completely removed from the ground. Both sign and post were found a short distance away. The Green County Highway Department was contacted to install a new sign.

• An officer observed an unoccupied ATV on the Sugar River Bike Trail behind the Chalet Landhaus at 1:33 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23. There were open containers of alcohol in the ATV. An owner was eventually identified. The case was turned over to the Department of Natural Resources, since the incident occurred within the jurisdiction of that agency.

• Police responded to a report of a person choking on a piece of food within the village at 7:47 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24. When police got to the location, the person had recovered and was alert, oriented and breathing normally.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Daniel J. Wilson, 27, Madison, was cited for driving without a valid license at 3:43 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, in the N9400 block of Wis. 69.

• Miguel A. Hernandez Aguilar, 35, Brodhead, was cited for driving without a valid license (third offense), failure to yield when turning left and driving without vehicle insurance after deputies responded at 7:11 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 22, to a two-vehicle accident on Wis. 11 at County GG in the Town of Spring Grove. Hernandez Aguilar attempted to make a left turn in front of an oncoming vehicle driven by Mark S. Harrison, 59, Cuba City, and the vehicles collided. Harrison and a passenger reported no injuries. Harrison's vehicle sustained severe front-end damage and was towed. Aguilar also reported no injuries. His vehicle sustained moderate damage to the rear passenger side and was towed.

• Emily A. Sylvester, 24, Janesville, was cited for driving with a suspended license (third offense) at 5:41 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24, after deputies stopped her for a traffic violation on Wis. 11 at Richland Road.
