Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Brandon D. Dallman, 20, Darlington, was cited Wednesday, Nov. 7, for driving with a suspended license (sixth offense) following a traffic stop on Main Street.

- Heather A. Hayes, 19, Darlington, was cited for disorderly conduct Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, following a disturbance at a residence on Lucy Street.

Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, Nov. 8:

- Phillip Ventura, 54, Freeport, Ill., was cited for disorderly conduct after police responded at 5:01 a.m. to a call at Monroe Clinic, 515 22nd Ave. Emergency room staff were scared when Ventura came in and started complaining and arguing about the "No Firearms" signs posted outside the hospital. He reportedly kept a hand in his pocket the whole time and insinuated he had a handgun. He then left. Police located him nearby on 18th Avenue. He told police he was just joking about the gun. No gun was located. A woman with Ventura needed medical attention, so an officer escorted them back to the hospital and stood watch by Ventura while she was seen by staff.

- Randy A. Gerber, 24, Monroe, was cited for following too closely after police responded at 10:16 a.m. to an accident at Wisconsin 69 at Wisconsin 11. Gerber collided with a vehicle driven by Robin L. Murray, 56, Monticello. Murray reported minor injuries but declined medical treatment.

- Police followed up at 11:21 a.m. to a letter they received in the mail complaining of a dog left out overnight in the 3000 block of 15th Street. The dog has a kennel in the yard, and police deemed the complaint unfounded.

- A construction crew reported pitbulls at large in the 1400 block of 23rd Street at 11:41 a.m. An officer searched the area but did not locate the dogs.

- A person in the parking lot of Piggly Wiggly, 725 8th St., reported at 1:24 p.m. that a yellow foam substance had been sprayed on a vehicle. Police are following leads.

- Police are following a lead on a case of shoplifting reported at 4:54 p.m. at Bargains Galore, 127 6th St. Hand lotion and various other items were taken from the store.

- A deer was reported inside the fenced area around Parkside Elementary, 920 4th St., at 5:37 p.m. The deer had left the area by the time police arrived.

Green County Sheriff

MONROE - On Thursday, Nov. 8:

- Jeanie L. Smith, 46, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct at 4:40 p.m. as the result of a report that she got into an altercation with the adult male driver of a vehicle traveling down Wis. 69 near County NN in the Town of New Glarus. There were no injuries. Smith posted bond and was released pending court.

- Melvin Brown, Jr., 40, Madison, was cited for driving with a revoked license and suspended registration at 3:02 a.m. on Wis. 69 at Industrial Drive in New Glarus.

- Andrew R. Converse, 23, Monticello, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 2:07 p.m. on County C east of Studer Lane in the Town of Washington.

- A 15-year-old male from the Town of New Glarus was cited at 3:07 p.m. for possession of THC and drug paraphernalia. He was referred to Juvenile Intake.

- Cindy M. Pekol, 39, Evansville, was cited for driving without a valid license (second offense) after deputies stopped a vehicle at 4:15 p.m. for a traffic infraction in the W800 block of Dunphy Road east of Edmunds Road in the Town of Albany.

- Jean M. Bailey, 41, New Glarus, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to maintain control and driving without vehicle insurance after deputies responded to a one-vehicle crash at 8:16 p.m. in the N6500 block of County N in the Town of Washington. Bailey was southbound and failed to stop at the intersection with County C. The vehicle became airborne and launched over the intersection, landing on the south side of the intersection. It continued southbound, then veered into the west ditch. Bailey was the lone occupant of the vehicle and sustained injuries but declined treatment. The Monticello Fire Department, Monroe EMS and Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources assisted at the scene.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Linda M. Pinch, 27, Cuba City, was arrested on Whaley Court in Benton at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, on a valid warrant issued by the Iowa County Sheriff's Department. She was turned over to an Iowa County deputy.

- Ronda J. Toepfer, 33, Gratiot, was cited for driving with a suspended license at 6:10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, on Wis. 11 in Gratiot.
