BRODHEAD Police

BRODHEAD - On July 6:

• A 23-year-old woman was arrested on a Beloit Municipal Court warrant at 1:10 p.m. after police stopped her in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue. She posted bond and was released.

• A vehicle damaged by fireworks was reported at 1:15 p.m. in the 1300 block of 3rd Avenue. The incident remains under investigation.

On July 7:

• A 22-year-old woman was arrested for operating while intoxicated at 1:08 a.m. after police stopped her in the 700 block of 9th Avenue. She was also cited for an unsafe lane deviation, not having proof of insurance and failing to apply a change of address.

• A 57-year-old man was cited for speeding at 7:43 p.m. after police stopped him in the 600 block of 9th Avenue.

• A 22-year-old woman was referred to the District Attorney on a bail jumping charge at 2:11 a.m. July 8. The charge stems from an incident the previous day in the 700 block of 9th Avenue.

• Two men were cited for disorderly conduct at 5:58 p.m. July 9 after police received a report of two men involved in a confrontation in the 800 block of 5th Avenue.

• A fireworks violation was reported at 9:17 p.m. Friday in the 1300 block of 6th Avenue.

• Child abuse was reported at 9:07 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue.



Monroe Police

MONROE - On Tuesday:

• Cody A. Young, 22, Argyle, was arrested and jailed on a Wisconsin Department of Corrections warrant at 3:17 p.m. at a residence in the 2000 block of Haven Lane.

• Linda A. Kuoppala, 38, Monroe, was arrested for disorderly conduct and littering at 11:01 p.m. after police responded to a report of someone shattering a bottle in the 1600 block of 11th Street. She was released pending court.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:

• Katelynn Salisbury, 22, Shullsburg, was arrested and jailed on a warrant issued by the City of Shullsburg at 1:18 p.m. She was released on a cash bond.

• Jonathan Ikezue, 45, Omaha, Neb., was cited for speeding at 7:43 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 151 in the Town of Belmont.

• Trespassing was reported at 8:17 a.m. on Laird Lane in the Town of New Diggings.

• Police responded at 2:10 p.m. to a 911 call on County M in the Town of Wiota.

• Police assisted the Stephenson County Sheriff's Office at 5:50 p.m. with a call on Wisconsin 11 in Gratiot.

• A theft was reported at 6:12 p.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• A theft was reported at 8:35 p.m. in the 9300 block of Wis. 78 in the Town of Wiota.

• A civil dispute was reported at 8:41 p.m. on East Water Street in Shullsburg.

• A noise complaint was reported at 11:16 p.m. on County J in Benton.
