Albany Police

ALBANY - Oscar Luis Toledo-Lozano, 37, Monroe, was cited Saturday, Dec. 29, for driving with a suspended license.

• Michael D. Gunday, 25, Monroe, was cited Sunday, Jan. 6, for driving with a suspended license.

• Jonathan K. Gill, 25, Oregon, was cited Sunday, Jan. 6, for driving with a suspended license and open intoxicants and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Sabrina D. Lisser, 20, Evansville, was cited Sunday, Jan. 6, for open intoxicants.



Brodhead Police

BRODHEAD - Rickey L. Coggins, 38, Brodhead, was arrested in the 2400 block of 1st Center Avenue at 4:38 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, on charges of felony bail jumping and theft of removable property. He was jailed.

• Darren C. Miller, 47, Janesville, was arrested on charges of speeding and driving with a revoked license at 10:38 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in the 600 block of 1st Street. He was jailed.

• Richard T. Flynn, 66, Brodhead, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated, lane deviation and driving with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration at 11:59 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31, in the 600 block of 10th Street. He was released with a court date.

• Darien V. Shimko, 17, Brodhead, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, on a warrant issued by Rock County Circuit Court. He was also cited for underage drinking and possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Rock County Jail and issued a court date.

• Renee A. Florent, 56, Poplar Grove, Ill., was cited for speeding in the 600 block of 1st Street at 7:42 p.m. Monday, Dec. 31.

• Brittany J. Collins, 23, Brodhead, was cited Thursday, Jan. 3, for resisting/interfering with an officer, stemming from an incident on Sept. 30.

• Chad M. Folstad, 30, Brodhead, was cited Friday, Jan. 4, for permitting/encouraging underage drinking, stemming from an incident on Dec. 31.

• David A. Scofield, 23, Brodhead, was cited in the 2300 block of East 3rd Avenue at 3:49 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, for driving with a revoked license (fourth offense), improper display of license plate, non-registration of auto and driving without vehicle insurance.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Benjamin Vazquez-Mendoza, 28, Darlington, was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license at 6:37 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, following a traffic stop on County F.

• Elizabeth Kay Davey, 22, Wauzeka, was cited on East Louisa Street at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, for driving as a permittee without an authorized person in the vehicle. Davey was also cited for having no vehicle insurance.

• Tanner J. Andrews, 20, Darlington, was cited for underage possession of alcohol at 6:44 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, following a traffic stop on Alice Street.

• The Darlington Police Department's K-9 Unit assisted the Lafayette County Sheriff's Department with a traffic stop on Wisconsin 23 at about 9:10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4. Marijuana, drug paraphernalia, prescription medications and a quantity of cash were recovered.



Monroe Police

MONROE - Gregory S. Luebke, Sr., 44, Monroe, was arrested at a residence in the 1900 block of 11th Avenue at 12:04 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, on a warrant issued by Monroe police for failure to pay a fine on a domestic disorderly conduct conviction. He paid bond and was released.

• Jeffrey R. Thornby, 38, Monroe, was arrested on a charge of third-offense driving while intoxicated at 1:09 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, in the 1000 block of 17th Avenue. He was also cited for driving against traffic on a one-way street and having no vehicle insurance. He was jailed.

• Issa N. Mazahreh, 32, Monroe, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and battery under domestic abuse laws at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at a residence in the 800 block of 25th Avenue. Police were called the same address the afternoon before to referee a dispute between Mazahreh and his estranged wife over a vehicle. By Saturday afternoon, their dispute reportedly escalated and became physical. The 33-year-old wife was bruised. Mazahreh was jailed. His signature bond was set at $1,500 on Monday, Jan. 7, with the conditions that he have no contact with the woman. His next court date is Feb. 5.

• Two men were arrested on charges of burglary, possession of burglarious tools and possession of stolen property after a resident in the 500 block of West 21st Street called police at 5:10 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 6, to report a burglary in progress. The suspects, Clark W. Schaller, 24, Monticello, and Marquis M. Mayo-Phiffer, 18, Monroe, were later arrested during a traffic stop and found with alleged stolen cash, burglary tools and prescription narcotic patches. They were jailed. Mayo-Phiffer was also taken into custody on a Department of Corrections probation and parole hold. The two suspects allegedly pried their way into a trailer home while the resident was sleeping and grabbed a portable safe. The resident was awakened by the sound of the safe clinking and called police.

• A 57-year-old woman incapacitated by alcohol was taken to detox in Madison after police responded to a report of a domestic dispute at 2:43 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, in the 500 block of West 21st Street. Police were called to the same address again the next afternoon because she was upset her sister had called police on her the day before. Officers warned her to be calm.

• A 51-year-old man incapacitated by alcohol was taken to detox in Madison after police responded to a complaint of an unwanted person at a residence in the 2200 block of 10th Street at 4:24 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4.

• Staff at Monroe Clinic reported suspicions at 2:43 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, that a person was using a false name to try to obtain prescription drugs at the hospital's pharmacy, 2002 4th St. Police referred the case to the District Attorney for a review of potential charges.
