MONROE - Brian P. Montanye, 36, and Andrea J. Montanye, 27, both of Monroe, were taken into custody at about 12:45 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Haven Lane. Brian was charged with domestic battery and disorderly conduct. Andrea was charged with domestic disorderly conduct. Both were released after posting bond.
Justin S. Miller, 18, Orangeville, Ill., was taken into custody after police responded to a reference of theft at about 3:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of Eighth Street. Miller was booked and released pending a court appearance for theft. Dewayne W. Moss, 20, Freeport, Ill., was cited and released for retail theft.

DARLINGTON - Austin P. Cook, 16, Montford, was cited for violating the graduated driver's license restrictions at about 9:45 p.m. Wednesday on West Mound Road in Belmont township.
Jeremiah W. Johnson, 29, Mineral Point, was transported to Lafayette County Jail on two valid Lafayette County warrants at about 8 a.m. Wednesday. Johnson posted bond and was released.
Leslie E. Phillips, 43, Platteville, was arrested on a valid warrant through the Department of Corrections at about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday in Benton. He remains jailed.
