BRODHEAD - Robert L. Prinkey, Jr., 41, Brodhead, was arrested in the 1400 block of East 4th Avenue at 1:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, on warrants issued by Green County Circuit Court. He was taken to the jail.
• Kaitlin L. Spooner, 23, Brodhead, was arrested in the 1200 block of 1st Center Avenue at 4:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, on a warrant issued by Rock County Circuit Court. She was released on cash bond.
• Stephanie M. Baade, 21, Brodhead, was cited for unnecessary acceleration /display of power and failure to obey a traffic sign at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, in the 1900 block of East 3rd Avenue.
• Erin L. Skwarlo, 32, Brodhead, was cited for speeding at 7:08 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, in the 2300 block of East 3rd Avenue.

NEW GLARUS - Chad A. Schneider, 41, New Glarus, was arrested on two counts of felony bail jumping after police responded to a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Elmer Road at 8:41 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16.
• Brian L. Haberman, 53, Monroe, was cited for driving without a valid license or vehicle insurance and a seatbelt violation at 12:43 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, on 5th Avenue at 2nd Street.
• Devin C. Emberson, 20, Middleton, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance after police stopped him for a defective headlamp on Wisconsin 69 at 11th Avenue at 8:08 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16
• Brian T. Franks, 32, Middleton, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for a seatbelt violation at 6:11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, on 2nd Street at 14th Avenue.
• Mark A. Svendsen, 55, Monticello, was cited for driving without vehicle insurance and for a seatbelt violation at 9:12 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, on Wis. 69 at 14th Avenue.
• Police assisted a citizen with retrieving some personal property from a residence in the 400 block of 6th Avenue at 4:47 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12.
• Police received a parking complaint at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, of a trailer parked on the street in the 100 block of 4th Avenue. A removal tag was placed on the trailer, and the trailer was later removed.
• A possible instance of illegal burning was reported at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the 200 block of Industrial Drive. Police found no violation.
• Police responded to the 900 block of 3rd Street at 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, for a noise complaint of loud music. The homeowner was warned.
• A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 500 block of 7th Avenue at 12:32 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Aaron Cushman, 42, New Glarus, reported someone had hit his legally parked pick-up truck and left the scene.
• At 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, a resident brought in a stray dog she found in her yard. The dog is a male boxer mix, white with darker spots, and had no collar. The Green County Humane Society picked up the dog from the police department.
• Police received a complaint at 9:53 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15, that a person was trying to break into a residence. Officers arrived on scene and determined the person was actually a friend of the complainant and was just trying to make contact with them to discuss some family issues.
