Nathan N. Norder, age 71, of Browntown, died on Monday, May 23, 2016 at his home. He was born on May 17, 1945 in Monroe, the son of Orville and Esther (Wachendorf) Norder. He attended Monroe High School. Nathan entered the U.S. Army in 1964 and honorably discharged in 1966. He married Connie Burke on December 19, 1970 in Apple River, IL.
He owned and operated Browntown Plumbing, installing sewers and septic systems. Nathan was past president of the Village of Browntown and devoted a great deal of time to the Browntown Fire Dept., including serving as Chief. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and fishing, but he especially loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Norder; daughters, Tela Norder, Chandra (Kurt) Brandli, Carrie (Jose) Pagan; grandchildren, Nick, Jayda and Alyssa Pagan; brother, Clayton (Janet) Norder; sisters, Vinnie Norder, Carol (Virgil) Helmeid, Orvilla (Walter) Gales, Evelyn Terrell and sister-in-law, Beverly Norder. He is predeceased by his parents; brothers, Orville Norder, Jr., Gerald, Rueben and Aaron Norder; sister, Peggy Meyers.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home, with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. Burial will be in the Saucerman Cemetery, Cadiz Township, Green Co. A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26th from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.
