MONROE - Mary H. Hagen, age 83, passed away on October 25, 2011 at Graceland Manor in Monroe, WI. Mary was born on January 12, 1928 in Milwaukee, WI to Jacob & Maria (Starnecker) Baumberger. Mary married Elmer Hagen on December 31, 1946 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot, WI. Elmer preceded her in death in 1999. They were lifelong farmers near Gratiot, WI. Mary attended the Mud Hollow School and Gratiot High School in Lafayette CO, WI. Mary was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot, WI. Mary and Elmer enjoyed their many trips, going to sales and all their farm animals.
Mary is survived by: her sister Rita Kaempfer of Warren and a brother in law: Richard (Francis) Hagen of South Wayne, WI. and many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents and a sister Klara Romer.
Funeral service will be Saturday October 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Gratiot, WI.
Visitation will be Saturday October 29, 2011 from 12:00 noon until time of service.
Father Wanish will officiate the service.
Burial will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gratiot, WI.
