Marjorie E. Zimmerman, age 86 of Juda, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Marjorie was born April 29, 1923, in Cliffton, England, the daughter of Charles and May Budd. She married Forrest Zimmerman on February 6, 1954, at the Monroe United Methodist Church.

Marjorie worked as an Avon representative for 48 years. She played euchre in a card club for many years and loved to dance, especially the foxtrot. She also enjoyed gardening, tending to her flowers, and butterflies.

She is survived by her husband, Forrest Zimmerman of Monroe; three children, Vickie (Ron) Gobeli of Monroe, Kim Zimmerman of Iowa, and Julie Gallien of Los Angeles, CA; three grandchildren, Kelly (Jerry) Pulcine of Edgerton, Kimberly Gobeli (Brandon) of Monroe, and Christopher (Amber) Zimmerman of Madison; and three great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lee Kelso on Aug. 4, 1988; and a sister, Dorothy Clarke on May 7, 2009.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at 11 a.m., at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Monroe, with Rev. Thomas Miller officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Oakley Union United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. The family will gather at the Monroe Moose Lodge following the funeral. A memorial fund will be established in Marjorie's name. To send a condolence to the family go to www.newcomerfuneralhome.net.
