Mabel Luella Bonjour, age 95 of Monroe, died on November 7, 2011 at the New Glarus Home. She was born on December 31, 1915, in Gratiot Township, the daughter of Charles W. and Alta J. (Douglas) Noble. Mabel and Archie Bonjour were married on November 6, 1943 in Darlington. She farmed with her husband in the Fayette area for many years, moving to Darlington in 1968, where she worked for the Borg Company. Mabel then moved to Monroe in 1971, she then worked at Pleasant View Nursing Home, until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, but she was known for her special homemade noodles.

She is survived by her children; Robert (Kay) Bonjour of Darlington, Linda Willborn of Brodhead, Kay (David) Johnson of Monroe; 11 grandchildren, 5 step-grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, 16 step-grandchildren and a sister Juanita Collins of Monroe. She is Predeceased by her parents; husband, Archie on December 12, 1993; son, Roger Noble on September 10, 2011; son-in-law, Ronald Willborn on January 11, 2005; brothers, Chester and Orville Noble; sisters, Geraldine Chandler, Fernie Meichetry and Vivian Erickson.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home in Monroe, with Pastor Dennis Perger officiating. Burial will be in the Gratiot Methodist Cemetery, Gratiot, WI. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11 at the funeral home.
