Luella M. Hanson, age 92, of Monroe, died on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. She was born on August 17, 1925 in Jordan Township, Wisconsin; the daughter of Clarence and Mabel (Hansen) Berg.

Luella and Junior Roy Hanson were united in marriage on June 7, 1943 in Browntown; this year they would have been celebrating there 75th anniversary.

After marriage, she farmed with her husband, Junior, in the Monroe area until 1969; they then moved to Monroe; where she was a school bus driver for 29 years. She enjoyed playing euchre and working in her flower garden.

She is survived by her husband, Junior of Monroe; daughters, Judy Hanson and Karen (Mike) Moellenberndt, both of Monroe; 2 grandchildren: Kelly (Mike Trumble) Hendrickson of Browntown and Todd (Angie Arians) Pulver of Monroe; 2 great-granddaughters, Jessika Pulver and Sabrina Lisser; 2 great-great-grandchildren: Aniya and Attlas; step-grandchildren: Brad (April) Moellenberndt of Evansville and Patti (Tony) Wilhite of Monroe, 3 step-great-grandchildren, Brady, Alec and Kade; and 1 brother-in-law, JJ Foley of Woodford.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Virgil Berg; sisters, Ruth Lehman and Hazel Foley.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 16, 2018 at St. John's United Church with Rev. Kathleen Rinear officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
