Lenora A. Treuthardt, age 89, of Janesville died on Friday, October 28, 2011 at her home. She was born on August 18, 1922 in Albany, WI, the daughter of the late Clyde and Elvena (Ladell) Shultz. Lenora graduated from High School and later married Louis P. Treuthardt on July 25, 1943 in Brodhead, WI. He predeceased her on March 16, 2006.
Lenora enjoyed watching and feeding the wildlife in her backyard, and playing Yhass, a Swiss card game, with her family. Spending time with family was very important to her, especially attending family reunions. She also enjoyed making homemade embroidered gifts for her family and friends.
She is survived by two children: Carlton (Linda) Treuthardt and James (Roberta) Treuthardt, all of Janesville; grandchildren: James (Gina) Treuthardt, Melinda (Garry) Treuthardt, Gordon (Shanni) Treuthardt, Carl (Cirry) Treuthardt, Tina (Phillip) Hanson, Lisa (Steve) Rivers, Randy (Cari) Lewis and Becky Lewis; 18 grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two sons: Terry and Leonard; and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Janesville with Rev. Jerry Amstutz officiating. Entombment will be at Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 10:30 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
