Keith H. "KC" Christen, 77, of Edgerton, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at Edgerton Hospital. KC was born on March 5, 1939 in Clarno, WI to the late John and Irma (Herbert) Christen. He graduated high school in 1957 from Monroe High School. KC worked at General Motors, doing many different jobs, but retiring as a fork lift operator. On March 3, 1989 in Las Vegas, NV, he married Sylvia Balis. KC loved to hunt and fish. He was also a big racing fan, and served on a pit crew for many years.
KC is survived by his wife, Sylvia Christen of Edgerton, WI: children: Jody (Niki) Christen of Monroe, WI, Teal (Timothy) Meyers of Roscoe, IL, Cleive Christen of Indianapolis, IN, Cain (Char) Christen of Portland, OR, Todd Christen of Monroe, WI, Aaren (Trisha) Christen of Marshall, WI: step-daughter: Michele (Rob) Leiden of Appleton, WI: 20 grandchildren: brothers: Don (Sandy) Christen of Freeport, IL, Kim (Diane) Christen of Blanchardville, WI, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Irma Christen: brother: Richard "Dick" Christen: step-son: Christopher Carmichael: step-granddaughter: Sheridan Veith.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. at the Albrecht Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, Edgerton on Saturday, September 24, 2016. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the start of the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in KC's name to Heartland Hospice.
