ORANGEVILLE - Kathryn S. Stickle, 92 yrs. old, of Orangeville passed away on Sat. July 6, 2013 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 17, 1921 to Frank and Sophia (Munster) Rogers in Wisconsin. She was a hardworking independent woman. She owned and operated Freeport Lunch Restaurant in Freeport, Ill.. She also operated Kathryn's Lunch Mobile Food Wagon for many years working with Eldon Schraepfer Auction Service of Hollandale, WI and Hack's Auction Service of Pecatonica, Ill. For the last several years she operated the Dakota Sales Barn Kitchen in Dakota, Ill.
Survivors include her daughter, JoAnn Kruse of Orangeville, her sons, Galey (Sharon) Bissell of Freeport, and Kenneth Bissell, Sr. of Orangeville, her daughter-in-law, Cathy Sittig of Necedah, WI., twelve grandchildren, Ron, John (Julie), Bill (Stephanie) Kruse, Christine Allen, Danielle Bissell, Ken Bissell, Jr., Steven (GariLynne) Bissell, Jeff Saxby, Tina Weigel, Mark Sittig, Mike (Kendra) Sittig, Sara (Paul) Shenefelt and Dawn (Brad) Plock, twenty great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandsons, and two specials friends who were like daughters, Mollie Albright and Karen Wilkinson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Joseph and Peter Rogers, three husbands, Rinehold Sittig, Galey Bissell Sr., and Irvin Stickle, her son, Marvin Sittig, Sr., her grandson, Marvin (Sonny) Sittig Jr., and her son-in-law, Donald Kruse.
Funeral Service will be on Wed. July 9, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Schwarz Park Blvd. Chapel, 608 S. Park Blvd., Freeport with Pastor David Schrader of the Freeport Mennonite Church officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at the Schwarz Chapel.
