Joyce Ann Carman, 71, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away April 28, 2010 of injuries received in a car accident. She was born December 6, 1938. She attended a rural elementary school, graduated from Brock High School, Brock, Neb., received her B.A. degree from Peru State Teachers College, Peru, Neb., and a Masters in music education from the University of Northern Colorado, Greely, Colo.
Joyce taught elementary and high school music until 1987 when she joined the Postal Department at Madison, Wis. She retired in 2004 and relocated to Florida to be near her family. High points in Joyce's life include the musicals she directed with her high school choirs each year and extended trips she took in Europe.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joy and Agnes Carman and nephew, Jeffery Bottcher.
She is survived by sisters, Judith Bottcher, Nancy Riensche (Ronald); brothers, Phillip Carman (Christine) and David Carman (Sheila); an extended family and friends all over the world. She will be missed by us all.
