Joanne E. Seffrood, age 66 of Monroe, Wisconsin, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at University Hospitals in Madison. She was born October 12, 1941 at Dakota, Illinois, the daughter of Glen and Flo (Adams) Stamm and graduated from Orangeville High School in 1959.
Joanne and Roger N. Seffrood were married on December 21, 1963 in McConnell, Illinois. Joanne worked for Rawleigh's in Freeport, the phone company in Freeport, and in the family accounting business - R. Seffrood & Company.
Surviving are two sons, Ryan (Sharon) Seffrood of Prairie du Sac, WI and Randy (Anna) Seffrood of Freeport, IL; two daughters, Jolynn (Jim) McIntosh of Monroe, WI and Jenee (Justin) Kranig of Monroe, WI; grandchildren, Brianna, Haliey and Caleb McIntosh, T. J. Butler, Morgan, Mason, Mara Seffrood, and Ella Kranig; four brothers, Gerald (Verna) Stamm of Orangeville, IL, Larry (Peggy) Stamm of Red Oak, IL, Ronnie (Pat) Stamm of Stockton, IL; and Marlen Stamm of Winslow, IL; sister, Marlene Stamm of Aurora, CO; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and husband.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at SHRINER-HAGER-GOHLKE FUNERAL HOME, 1455 Mansion Drive and 18th Avenue in Monroe with Monsignor Thomas Campion officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Monroe.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established in Joanne's memory.
