DAVIS, ILL. - Jerry R. Heidenreich, age 58 of Davis, IL died Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at his home. Jerry was born February 13, 1952 in Freeport, IL, the son of Ray Lee and Beth (Winter) Heidenreich.

He graduated from Stockton High School in 1970. Jerry and Sherry Renee Bruhn were married on July 17, 1982 at the United Methodist Church in Stockton.

They farmed in the Woodbine area before moving to Rock Grove, IL in 1986. They purchased a farm north of Davis in 1991. Jerry was a member of the Illinois Holstein Assoc., a former board member of the N.W. IL Forage and Grasslands Council, and as a youth enjoyed showing Guernsey dairy cattle.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Heidenreich of Davis, IL; his mother, Beth Heidenreich; a brother, Loren (Tracy) Heidenreich, all of Elizabeth, IL; a sister, Julie (Dennis) Nampel of Juneau, WI; three nephews; one niece; his father and mother-in-law,

Richard and Viola Bruhn of Janesville, Iowa; and two brothers-in-law, Kenneth Bruhn of Janesville, Iowa, and William Bruhn of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his father; and a brother, Roger Heidenreich.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2010, at 10:00 a.m., at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 1329 31st. Ave., Monroe. Reverend Cal Schaver will officiate with interment to follow in State Line Cemetery, Rock Grove Township, IL.

Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A memorial fund will be established in Jerry's name for Monroe Clinic Hospice.
