James "Jimmy" Everett Zwickey

EVANSVILLE - James "Jimmy" Everett Zwickey passed away on Thursday December 28, 2017 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 8, 1955 in Stoughton, Wisconsin the son of Delbert and Zilla (Montanye) Zwickey. He was a life long resident of Evansville and was employed for forty three years at Baker Manufacturing Company Evansville. Jimmy married Beverly Ryburn on June 7, 2002 in Las Vegas Nevada. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying trap shooting, hunting of all kinds, fishing and especially ice fishing. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Packers and the Badgers. Jimmy had a big heart and was a gentle, kind person always willing to help others. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Beverly of Evansville, a son; Jason (Marie) Huff, three sisters; Lona (Charles Frensel) Wilkins, Beverly (William) Weber, Diane (Curt) Kohl, two grandsons; Mason and Brennen Huff, a granddaughter; Kiwii Huff two sisters in law; Karen McCoy and Carolyn Mclaglen (Larry Thiel), several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; Delbert and Zilla, two sisters; Lovida and Yvonne, and a brother; Robert. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 13, 2018 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home Evansville. Condolences may be expressed at Wardhurtley.com.
