Fredric "Fritz" H. Magadanz, longtime Waukesha area resident, of Monticello, WI since 1995, died Thursday, March 25, 2010 at The Monroe Clinic in Monroe, WI at the age of 72 years. Fritz was born on August 16, 1937 the son of Harold and Kathryn Magadanz. On September 30, 1995 he married Deanna (nee Lhost) whom he enjoyed over 14 years of marriage. Fritz worked for Steinhafels in Waukesha and Madison for over 48 years. He was a former member of Mt. Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, Waukesha, WI and a member of Mt. Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church in Monroe, WI.

Fritz will be dearly missed by his wife, Deanna; children, Christopher Magadanz of Porterfield, WI Jeffrey Magadanz (Richard Geist) of CA, John Magadanz of Oregon, WI, Margareta (Timothy) Gray of Ft. Atkinson, WI, Jason (Naomi) Magadanz of Edgerton, William (Sheri) Stricker of Phoenix, AZ, Robert Stricker of Seattle, WA, Joseph (Michelle) Stricker of Fredonia, WI, Marie (Jeff) Michiel of Manitowoc, WI and Curt Mathiesen of Manitowoc, WI; sister, Zona (Werner) Shallow of Waukesha, WI. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Fritz was preceded in death by his wife, Orabelle Magadanz; parents; and sister, Donna Paddock.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 2010 at The Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha with Military Honors to follow. The Reverend Michael Turriff will be officiating. The visitation will be on Monday from 1 p.m. until the time of the 3 p.m. funeral service at the funeral home. Memorials are appreciated to the charity of the donor's choice. Burial will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, Waukesha.
