Frances M. Sippel, age 87 of Monroe, died Friday, June 27, 2008 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Frances was born September 4, 1920 in Jefferson Township, Green County, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clayton and Nettie Pearl (Fetterhoff) Camron.

She married Carl J. Sippel on December 7, 1939 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Monroe.

They farmed on the Sippel home farm in Cadiz Township before moving into Monroe in 1979. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.

Frances is survived by three children, Richard (Delia) Sippel of Plano, TX, JoAnn (Edward) Clair of Clayton, CA, and Gary Sippel of Raleigh, N.C.; two grandchildren, Leigh Sippel of Charlotte, N.C. and Adam Sippel of Raleigh, N.C.; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Wheaton of Irvine, CA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carl, on November 11, 1991; two brothers, Alvin and Franklin Camron; and a sister, Marian Weiss.

Public graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. Reverend Gretchen Sylvester of St. John's United Church of Christ will officiate. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Frances' name for Pleasant View Nursing Home or the charity of one's choice.
