Monroe Police

MONROE - An ambulance was dispatched:

• At 1:10 a.m. Friday, June 21, to the 1700 block of 9th Avenue.

• At 8:26 a.m. Saturday, June 22, to the 100 block of 9th Street.

• At 9:23 a.m. Sunday, June 23, to the 2900 block of 13th Street.

The Monroe Fire Department was dispatched:

• At 9:52 a.m. Friday, June 21, for a report that a lightning bolt hit a tree in a residential backyard in the 700 block of 16th Avenue.

• At 11:28 a.m. Sunday, June 23, for a fire alarm at Monroe Clinic, 2009 5th St. It was an alarm malfunction. There was no fire.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - New Glarus Area EMS was dispatched to medical calls within the village:

• At 10:09 p.m. Saturday, June 22.

• At 4:13 p.m. Sunday, June 23.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Firefighters and other emergency personnel were dispatched to a location along the Sugar River at 3:14 p.m. Sunday, June 23, for a report of a canoe stuck under a tree along the river's edge.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - The Woodford Fire Department and deputies assisted with removing a camper and its occupants from the campground area of Blackhawk Memorial Park near Woodford at 9:17 a.m. Sunday, June 23. The East Branch of the Pecatonica River had become flooded, cutting off the camper from the road leading out of the park.
