Donald R. Neuenschwander, 73 of Mauston, better known as "Don from Mauston Home Sales," passed away Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston following a brief illness.
He was born in Monroe, WI, one of 8 children born to Walter Levi and Lena (Schultz) Neuenschwander.
Don worked at Mauston Home Sales for over 40 years. Over the years Don enjoyed snowmobiling, Packer games, cooking, gardening, visiting with friends, feeding the birds, and a cold beer.
He is survived by a son, Steve (Kay) of Oregon, WI and their children Kim and Alex; a daughter, Lisa (Richard Van Dusen) of Dousman; seven siblings: Ken, Gladys Wolf, Alvin, Glen, Ray, Bill, and Linda. Many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys on December 11, 2004.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2008 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Mauston. Friends may call from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Crandall Funeral Home, Mauston. Burial will be in St. Patrick Cemetery.
