Felonies

• Randy C. Steele, 44, Darlington, has an initial appearance scheduled Sept. 24 on theft charges filed Aug. 14. Court records indicate Steele stole about $1,400 from the First National Bank of Darlington and its employees between October 2011 and March 2012, while he was employed at the bank as a night janitor.

• Julie Rae Woodcock, 40, Cuba City, signed a $1,000 signature bond Tuesday, Sept. 4, on a Class H felony charge of child abuse as a party to a crime, stemming from an incident involving a 14-year-old in June in the 600 block of South Splinter Street in Cuba City. Conditions of her bond include not drinking and not entering any establishment that sells primarily alcohol. Her next court appearance is Sept. 18.

• Curtis Corun Scaife, 28, Platteville, has a preliminary hearing Oct. 2 on charges that he physically and verbally abused a 24-year-old pregnant woman in and outside of a vehicle on County XX, Wisconsin 126 and U.S. 151. He faces misdemeanor counts of battery and disorderly conduct and a Class H felony charge of false imprisonment. He has signed a $1,000 signature bond.

• Michael James Kirschbaum, 26, Shullsburg, has a preliminary hearing Sept. 26 on a Class H felony charge of child abuse filed Aug. 29. Court records indicate he punched and slapped a 7-year-old boy Aug. 26 in the 100 block of North Mound Avenue in Belmont.

Misdemeanors

• Dakota Jonathan Trujillo, 21, West Bend, pleaded guilty Tuesday, Sept. 4, to revoking his probation Aug. 17 on misdemeanor charges of entry into a building or construction site, breaking into a locked vehicle and criminal damage to property. He was sentenced to nine months in jail, minus 155 days of sentence credit, and is granted work-release privileges.

• Luis Alfredo Lobato-Romero, 27, Darlington, pleaded no contest Thursday, Sept. 6, to revoking his probation Aug. 29 on misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Due to sentence credit, he has already served the time. He owes the court $343.
