Felonies
Nathan Lee Wiesenberg, Jr., 36, Monroe, was charged Oct. 17 with three counts of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping, for failing to appear in court May 8 as ordered. His initial appearance in the case is Oct. 31.
Samantha E. Murray, 33, was charged Oct. 23 with a Class I felony count of possessing methamphetamine. Court records indicate officers found 0.189 grams of meth in her purse during a traffic stop July 18 on 10th Street near East 2nd Avenue in Brodhead. Her preliminary hearing is Nov. 1.
Misdemeanors
Brett Dylan Hutchison, 22, Monroe, pleaded no contest Oct. 3 to misdemeanor counts of bail jumping, trespassing and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation with the conditions that he maintain employment, maintain absolute sobriety, undergo an alcohol-abuse assessment and comply with all treatment and counseling recommendations. The charges stem from a series of incidents between March and September. In each case, Hutchison was drunk when arrested, up to more than four times the legal limit. Court records indicate officers found him in July drunk outside a Monroe residence after getting kicked out by his father; in March he alarmed an Albany couple by going into their apartment naked, urinating on their carpet and crawling into bed with them; in September he yelled abusively and violently pushed a woman as she held their 16-month-old daughter. She wrote the court that she feels she can't trust Hutchison with their daughter and will have to raise the girl on her own. Hutchison is eligible to have convictions expunged from his record under a state law that grants leniency to some youthful offenders.
Mitchell Robert Haug, 18, Monroe, pleaded no contest Oct. 9 to misdemeanor counts of bail jumping and possession of drug paraphernalia. Felony bail jumping and an underage drinking ticket were dismissed. He was sentenced to 18 months of probation with the conditions that he undergo an alcohol- and drug-abuse assessment and undergo treatment and counseling as recommended. Court records indicate he was found with a one-hitter pot pipe and 2.9 grams of blueberry-flavored Bizarro brand herbal incense (synthetic marijuana) during a traffic stop March 30 in Monroe Township and on May 25 was drinking beer, in violation of bond, in a vehicle stopped in Spring Grove Township. Haug is eligible to have convictions expunged from his record under a state law that grants leniency to some youthful offenders.
Robert Joseph Crull, 18, Evansville, pleaded no contest Oct. 16 to misdemeanor count of marijuana possession, downgraded from a felony, and was sentenced to 18 months of probation with the conditions that he perform 100 hours of community service, consume no intoxicants and undergo alcohol/drug counseling. Court records indicate he was arrested July 22 during a traffic stop on Sugar River Parkway at Mineral Street in Albany and officers found 33.9 grams of marijuana, two pot pipes, two digital scales and a box of sandwich-size baggies in the maroon Chevy Impala. Crull is eligible to have convictions expunged from his record under a state law that grants leniency to some youthful offenders.
