Ryan Stanley Rebout, 32, Janesville, was sentenced Jan. 2 to two years in prison and two years of extended supervision on a felony conviction of false imprisonment, stemming from an incident May 14 at a home in the 1100 block of Wisconsin 78 in the Town of Gratiot. Court records indicate he tried to keep a woman from leaving the residence by repeatedly slamming her head on the floor, repeatedly punching her in the face and dragging her by her hair so violently that clumps of it ripped out. Charges of substantial battery, disorderly conduct and second-degree recklessly endangering safety were dismissed. He is ordered to pay the court $368, find and maintain full-time employment, have no contact with the victim, complete domestic abuse and anger management counseling and undergo assessments of his mental health and abuse of alcohol or other drugs and follow through with all recommended treatment and counseling.
Curtis Corun Scaife, 28, Platteville, pleaded guilty Jan. 16 to misdemeanor charges of battery and disorderly conduct and was granted a one-year deferred prosecution. A felony charge of false imprisonment was dismissed. The charges stem from an incident July 3. Court records indicate he physically and verbally abused a 24-year-old pregnant woman in and outside of a vehicle on County XX, Wis. 126 and U.S. 151. He was fined $343.
Antoine Terrell Williams, 32, Elgin, Ill., pleaded no contest Jan. 16 to a forfeiture charge of disorderly conduct and was fined $267.50. A felony charge of child abuse and misdemeanor counts of battery were dismissed. The charges stem from an Oct. 8 disturbance at a residence on North Van Buren Street in Benton.
Brodie Gregory Flannery, 20, Monroe, was charged Jan. 3 with forging a check on Nov. 21 in the amount of $56.59 to South Wayne Mart, 210 Wis. 11. The charge is a Class H felony. His initial appearance is Jan. 28.
Steven Todd Crapp, 46, Belmont, was charged Jan. 3 with a Class I felony count of substantial battery. Court records indicate he punched a man on a bus while it was transporting a bachelor party on West Mound Road in the Town of Belmont on Sept. 2, causing the man to get a bloody nose. Crapp's arraignment is Feb. 20.
William Robert Pollack, 21, Belleville, was charged Jan. 4 with forging a check on Oct. 14 in the amount of $40 to Darlington Mini Mart, 11981 Wis. 23, and a check on Nov. 7 in the amount of $60 at First National Bank, 245 Main St. The charges are Class H felonies. His initial appearance is Jan. 28.

Kandi Kaye Willis, 41, Platteville, was charged Jan. 2 with a Class A misdemeanor count of criminal damage to property and a Class B misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct. The charges stem from an incident Oct. 29 in a moving vehicle in the 27000 block of Wis. 81 in the Town of Elk Grove. Court records indicate she screamed at her boyfriend while he was driving the car, then broke off the key in the ignition, ripped out the rearview mirror and kicked the windshield until it shattered. Her initial appearance is Jan. 28.
Traci L. McKay, 20, Highland, was charged Jan. 11 with writing a worthless check on Sept. 10 in the amount of $32.22 to Zephyr Depot, Benton, and again on Sept. 20 in the amount of $60 to the same business. The charges are Class A misdemeanors. Her initial appearance is Jan. 28.
