Green County Felonies

• The court Tuesday entered a plea of not guilty and scheduled a May 6 district attorney conference for David A. Fricks, 50, Monroe, who stood mute to a charge of substantial battery.

Court records indicate he hit a man with a beer mug March 1 at Sir Buk's Dance Club in Monroe township. The victim was cut and needed stitches.

He is charged with substantial battery, a class I felony. He faces more than three years in prison and up to $10,000 in fines, if convicted.

He remains free on a $3,000 signature bond.

• Michael H. Williams, 24, Monroe, remains jailed on a $2,000 cash bond after making his initial appearance Tuesday for bail jumping and disorderly conduct charges.

Court records indicate he argued with a woman and refused to leave her alone and also got into a fight with two men March 28 at Friendly Inn. He was on bond for disorderly conduct, attempted battery and sexual assault charges at the time of the incident.

He is charged with two counts of felony bail jumping, both class H felonies, one count of misdemeanor bail jumping, a class A misdemeanor, and two counts of disorderly conduct, both class B misdemeanors. He faces more than 13 years in prison and up to $41,000 in fines, if convicted.

His preliminary hearing is April 8.

Misdemeanors

• Justin L. Golackson, 21, Monroe, is scheduled to make his initial appearance April 28 for two counts of bail jumping.

Court records indicate he contacted a woman between Feb. 12 and Feb. 19 in Green County while on bond for disorderly conduct and battery and for sending threatening messages and obstructing an officer.

He is charged with two counts of bail jumping, both class A misdemeanors. He faces up to 18 months in jail and up to $20,000 in fines, if convicted.
