Ann L. Seffrood, age 64 of South Wayne, WI passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Monroe Manor in Monroe, WI. She was born August 10, 1944 in Wiota Township, the daughter of C. Alfred and Anna (Schiesser) Ommodt. She was united in marriage to Donald Seffrood on April 20, 1975 at East Wiota Lutheran Church in Wiota, WI. Ann lived and farmed with her husband in Wiota Township until 1997 when they moved to South Wayne. She began an In Home Care Service in 1998, where she cared for a number of elderly people throughout Lafayette County.

Ann is survived by her husband: Don; one daughter: Jennifer Ann Seffrood of South Wayne; one step-son: Stuart (Sandy) Seffrood of Wiota; two step-grandchildren: Karl, Spence Seffrood; two sisters: Sharon Moore of Janesville, WI, Sheila Gempler of Orfordville, WI; and many nieces and nephews. Ann will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and many close friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers: Alfred Ommodt, Jr. and George Ommodt in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Wiota Lutheran Church with Rev. Sara Gillespie officiating. Burial will be at East Wiota Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Wiota Lutheran Church. Erickson Funeral Home in Argyle is serving the family.
