On January 4:
● At 12:45 p.m., Deputies responded to the intersection of CTH B and Honey Creek Rd., Town of Clarno, for a two vehicle crash with no injuries. Investigation determined a westbound vehicle, operated by Kelsi R. Ruchti, 39, of Monroe, was attempting to turn south onto Honey Creek Rd. While waiting to turn, a westbound vehicle, operated by Mariana L. Santamaria-Rayo, 22 of Monroe, could not stop her vehicle in time and collided with Ruchti’s vehicle. Santamaria-Rayo’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and had airbag deployment. Ruchti’s vehicle sustained disabling damage with no airbag deployment. Both drivers reported wearing their seatbelts, not being injured and both vehicles were towed. Santamaria-Rayo was cited for Driving too Fast for Conditions and Operating Without a Valid License.
● At 4:27 p.m., Deputies responded to a residence in the 600 block of E. Lake Ave, Village of Monticello, for a 911 call. As a result of the investigation, Jose Rojas, 32, of Monticello, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct- Domestic and a PO Hold. Rojas was transported to the Green Co. Jail pending an initial court appearance.
