On November 27:

● At 6:02 a.m., Deputies, along with Blanchardville EMS, responded to the W8800 block of Yankee Hollow Rd, York Township, for a motor vehicle crash with injuries. Investigation found that a vehicle operated by Wyatt J. Engle, 16, of Platteville, was traveling east on Yankee Hollow Rd, when he failed to negotiate a curve. Engle’s vehicle struck a mailbox and entered the east ditch, where it rolled before coming to rest. Engle advised he was wearing his seatbelt, no airbag deployment, and a minor injury. The vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

On November 28:

● At approximately 12:33 a.m., Deputies responded to the W6700 block of Farmers Grove Rd, Town of New Glarus, after receiving an automated crash alert notification. Investigations resulted in Dustin A Trumpy, 30, of Monticello, being arrested for Endangering Safety of Others. Trumpy was incarcerated at the Green County Jail pending court.
