MONROE - One hundred twenty-five custom Red Wing stoneware crocks have been produced to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Green County Courthouse in downtown Monroe.
These limited edition numbered crocks are selling for $45 in the Cheese Days Store, which is in the lower level of the Green County Courthouse. Due to the interest from both Courthouse and Red Wing collectors, it is expected that these will sell out before the Cheese Days festival, according to the news release.
The Cheese Days Store is open from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. Beginning Sept. 6, the store will be open weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Crocks also can be paid by phone and shipped by calling 608-325-7771. To view all the merchandise available in the Cheese Days Store, visit www.cheesedays.com.
