MONROE - Green County Emergency Management, along with the Midwest Severe Storm Tracking/Response Center, the National Weather Service and Monticello Fire Department, will host two local tornado spotters' classes in March.
From 1 to 3 p.m. March 16, a Basic Tornado Spotter Class will be held at the Green County Justice Center.
Another class will be held that evening at the Monticello Fire Department from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
These classes are open to all first responders, as well as the general public, and there is no cost to attend the classes.
Due to limited seating, pre-registration is required. To pre-register, contact Green County Emergency Management at 608-328-9416.
