MONROE - A Hollandale man charged with having sex with an underage Belleville girl appeared in Green County Circuit Court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing. Matthew Christen, 24, faces two Class C felony counts of second-degree sexual assault of a child and one Class D felony count of child enticement. At his appearance, Christen waived his right to the preliminary hearing and was granted an alteration to his $5,000 signature bond.
