Badger State Ethanol to expand MONROE - Badger State Ethanol LLC is collaborating with Scott Lucas of LE3 on an expansion of BSE's Monroe plant. The expansion will create additional jobs and increase the economic impact the plant has on the community and the state. For this expansion, BSE was awarded a $493,327 grant from the Rural Energy for America program and another $67,000 was awarded from Focus on Energy for energy efficiency projects.
