Board approves Juda school district loan

MADISON - On June 2, the Board of Commissioners of Public Lands approved a State Trust Fund Loan totaling $200,000 to the Juda school district to purchase capital equipment.

The board also approved loans totaling nearly $5.3 million at the meeting.

Juda will use the loan for purchases including paying for some buses, a floor machine, microscopes, color printer, band equipment and technology needs.

The BCPL operates without taxpayer money and distributes more than 96 cents of every dollar of interest earned on BCPL State Trust Fund Loans to Wisconsin's public schools.

The 2015 library aid awarded to each district are: Albany, $15,052; Argyle, $11,652; Brodhead, $34,928; Black Hawk, $28,884; Darlington, $29,175; Juda, $9,880; Monroe, $88,192; Monticello, $12,640; and New Glarus, $33,998.
