MONROE - Green County Leaders is seeking motivated adults who are interested in learning, self-discovery, community issues and networking. Those interested in developing those attributes are encouraged to apply for the 2016-2017 Green County Leaders class.

Green County Leaders is an education program designed to help build community leadership. Participants meet one day per month for nine months. This is a great networking opportunity; participants connect with leaders throughout Green County.

Programs focus on building community leadership skills and raising awareness of community issues, including local government, health care, economic development, education and more.

Application forms and more information about the program are available online at www.greencountyleaders.com or at the Green County UW-Extension office at 2841 6th St., Monroe.

Applications will be accepted through July 15. Scholarships are available to assist with tuition for qualifying participants.
