MONROE — A woman was ejected from her vehicle after she went off the road into a ditch near Albany Saturday afternoon, according to the Green County Sheriff’s Office.

Gina K. Allen, 47, Albany, was transported to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison for treatment of her injuries.

The crash happened at about 1:20 p.m. just east of Albany in the W2100 block of Bump Road. Deputies responded to the scene with Albany EMS, the Albany Fire Department and state DNR.

An investigation showed Allen was eastbound when her vehicle veered into the ditch, rolled over and hit a culvert. Allen was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, which came to a rest after colliding with a tree. It was towed from the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
